With the recent cancelation of American Cheese Society Conference, we saddened that we won’t be having our 5th annual Cheeseletes 5k in Portland. But we turned that frown upside down and are going virtual!! That’s right, we will be having a virtual 5k this year. When you sign up for our race, between the dates of July 19th-26th, you will do a 5k run, walk, skip, jump, rollerblade, bike, whatever you choose, right outside your front door.

The Cheeseletes are committed to supporting cheese education and our community, which has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the groups that got hit the hardest are our restaurants. We all know a waiter, dishwasher, manager, or chef that has lost their job. They need our help. Every step you take helps a great cause, with all the virtual 5k proceeds going to Beard Foundation Open For Good campaign, supporting the recovery and rebuilding of an independent restaurant industry that we need now and in the future. Our goal is to give back to those who have given so much to us and our community. We want to raise $10k for our colleagues, for our friends.
